Part-Time Golf Course Clubhouse Attendant

University Park Country Club is seeking a Golf Bag & Cart Attendant to join our team. This part-time opportunity (2-3 days per week) plays an important role in delivering an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests. University Park Country Club is a premier semi-private club serving approximately 1,200 residents across 32 communities, along with outside members. Our 27-hole championship golf course is recognized as the #1 course in the Sarasota County area, hosting approximately 83,000 rounds annually. Candidates must be available to work at least one weekend day. Seasonal positions are not available. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly, professional manner Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the overall golf experience Assist with loading and unloading golf bags from vehicles and carts Stage, clean, and maintain golf carts throughout the day Prepare carts for play and return them to storage after use Maintain organization and cleanliness of cart and bag storage areas Monitor cart inventory and report needs as necessary Support golf events and daily golf operations Assist with driving range duties, including ball retrieval, cleaning, and setup Set up range and first tee areas for daily play Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in warm weather and varying conditions Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong work ethic Dependable with flexible availability, including weekends and holidays $14.00/hour + tips Complimentary golf privileges If you take pride in delivering great service and enjoy being part of a high-performing team, we’d love to hear from you.
