Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Belspur, Florida is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The project is currently in the early mass excavation phase with golf construction starting this fall.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive golf course maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a Superintendent or First Assistant role.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a closely related field.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Florida Commercial Fertilizer Applicator Certificate and a Florida Pesticide Applicator License (or have the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire).
• Golf Construction-Grow in: Prior experience in golf construction and growing in a golf course would be beneficial. Proven expertise in managing warm-season turfgrass, managing water quality challenges and executing summer cultural practices.
• Availability: Ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and adjust schedules based on severe weather events.
Compensation
$130,000 per year.
