About the Role
Overview 1. Manager
• Schedule, Train, and Manage a crew of 12 outside services employees. 2. Greeting all Club Members and Guests
• Greet all club members and guests upon their arrival onto the club property. Providing good parking lot service is key to the golfer's experience.
• Be attentive to their needs and offer to set their clubs up on a golf cart.
• Ensure that their golf clubs are clean and ready for use.
• Instruct and direct all club members and guests to the Golf Shop as they are to properly check in prior to using the club facilities.
• Have a working knowledge of all club policies and procedures so that you can be accurate in dealing with daily activities or answering any questions that the members or guests may have.
• Track all arrivals with a daily tee sheet provided by the golf shop and inform the golf shop of suspicious activity or club members/guests that are using club property and have not checked in. 3. Managing the Club Member or Guest Experience
• Ensure that there are always clean golf carts staged for use and that all golf carts are cleaned and restocked following their use.
• Ensure that the golf shop is fully stocked at all times with range balls and other needs supplied by the outside operation.
• Ensure that the driving range and member practice facility is in proper order (all broken tees are picked up, all range bags are picked up, divots are filled, club stands are straightened, all furniture is upright and properly straightened, chipping greens are cleaned off, and all club washes are filled with clean water).
• Ensure that good rotation practices are happening when moving the driving range ropes to aid with regeneration of turf.
• Provide direction or assistance to any club member or guest that may need it.
• Have a working knowledge of all club events and happenings as to share information with club members and guests.
• Provide club cleaning to all club members and guests following their time at the club and assist them with loading their clubs in their car. 4. Communication
• Report all issues and activities happening within the outside operation to the Head Golf Professional. This includes and is not limited to employee issues, member issues, or guest issues.
• Inform the Head Golf Professional of safety concerns, supplies needed, and repairs needing to be made.
• Stay informed on all policies and procedures for the outside operation.
• Stay informed on all upcoming events affecting the outside operation. 5. Clean Workplace
• Assist with proper care and maintenance of the club parking lots, walkways, trash cans, ash trays, bag drop, greeting station at the bag drop, cart building, carts, utility vehicles, and resources needed to complete your duties.
