As our Assistant Superintendent, you won't simply maintain a golf course - you'll help design the future of one. Bentgrass greens management in a challenging southern climate Irrigation scheduling and water management Fertility and plant health programs Calibration and operation of modern spray equipment Tournament operation and daily course set up Equipment management and maintenance planning Staff leadership and daily crew supervision Budgeting and operational planning Moisture management using modern turf performance technology Data-driven agronomic decision making Evaluate emerging autonomous mowing technologies Participate in equipment demonstrations and field testing Help develop operating procedures for robotic mowing systems Work with GPS and RTK-guided equipment Analyze labor efficiencies and workflow improvements Help integrate autonomous equipment into daily golf course operations Contribute ideas that directly influence the future direction of one of the Southeast's most progressive public golf facilities. Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management (preferred) Golf course maintenance experience Knowledge of irrigation systems Knowledge of turfgrass management practices Alabama pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain) Valid driver's license
