Summary/Objective
Sets and cleans dining room tables before, during, and after meal service.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Inspects the service station prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
Restocks service station with additional supplies throughout the shift as necessary.
Follows set-up procedures.
Assists servers in their tasks.
Assists in carrying food trays to tables.
Removes used dishes from the dining rooms; brings to dish washing area.
Removes used linen and replaces with clean linen.
Sets tables with silverware, glassware and other items.
Cleans runner service areas.
Stocks servers’ station with supplies.
Keeps ice bins filled.
Maintains general cleanliness of the dining rooms.
Assembles orders on trays to expedite service.
Serves meals by way of open service and according to seat position.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires flexibility to work split shifts Tuesday through Sunday.
Required Education and Experience
At least 6 months of restaurant service experience is required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours at one time.
Preferred Education and Experience
Fine dining experience preferred.
