Overnight Security Officer

Overnight Security Officer Position Summary Congaree Golf Club is seeking a dependable and professional Overnight Security Officer to help ensure the safety, security, and integrity of the Club's property, facilities, members, guests, and employees during overnight hours. This position requires strong observation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to respond calmly and professionally to a variety of situations while maintaining the high standards of service expected at a private luxury golf club. Essential Responsibilities Conduct routine patrols of the clubhouse, lodging accommodations, maintenance facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems.Secure buildings, gates, and other access points according to established procedures.Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, suspicious activity, and guest or employee concerns.Complete detailed incident and activity reports.Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and severe weather events.Ensure only authorized individuals have access to restricted areas.Provide courteous assistance to members, guests, and employees as needed while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.Communicate effectively with management, local emergency responders, and other departments when necessary.Perform additional duties as assigned to support the operation and security of the Club.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred.Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout overnight shifts.Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.Basic computer proficiency for completing reports and monitoring security systems.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to successfully pass a background check.Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to patrol indoor and outdoor areas in varying weather conditions.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.Ability to climb stairs and respond quickly to emergencies.Schedule This is a full-time overnight position. Schedule and hours are subject to change based on the operational needs of the Club and may include weekends and holidays. Work Location: In person
