Assistant Golf Professional

We are a family-owned PUBLIC golf course committed to providing a welcoming experience for every golfer. As we continue to make improvements to our course and facilities, we are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for golf, and is looking to grow their career in the golf industry. It is a REQUIREMENT that the candidate is currently enrolled in a PGA Membership program or actively pursuing a PGA Membership. **Please do NOT call the Pro Shop about this position. The staff will not have any information and all applications will be reviewed through this site. Responsibilities Work in the Pro Shop assisting customers with check in, tee time management and answering phone calls and ringing up sales Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience Maintain a clean, organized and professional golf shop Teach private and group lessons Ability to handle financial transactions accurately at the Pro Shop Help create a welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels Work as a part of a team to provide an exceptional experience for our customers Qualifications Strong golf knowledge and teaching ability Excellent customer service and communication skills Organized, dependable and self motivated Positive attitude and ability to work well with others Previous golf shop experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Salary is competitive and will be based on experience 100% of your golf lesson income is yours to keep.
