Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee and enforce golf shop operations, policies, and proceduresResponsible for hiring, training, scheduling and supervising pro shop and cart staffResponsible for setting hours of operationManage the tee sheetEnsure that adequate cash is on hand for cash register and change bankSchedule tournaments and provide assistance with scoreboards, scorecards, cart placards, etc.Maintain a stock of profitable merchandise for the golf shopPurchase snacks, drinks, beer, and wine for the snack barMonthly Inventory CountPurchase supplies for the golf shop, restrooms, and cart barnMonthly Membership billingMaintain membership list and email addressesKeep members informed via newslettersAttend meetings to market the golf coursePrepare daily depositsReconcile and enter daily sales/income into accounting programPay invoices and bills in a timely mannerVerify employee hours for payrollBalance bank statementsFile sales taxInvoice Homeowners AssociationsPrepare monthly financial reports
