About the Role
The Golf Course Greenskeeper works mainly outside, operating equipment and tools to maintain the golf course and grounds.Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent
License(s) Required: Valid LA driver's license Years Relevant Work Experience: 1 year golf course work Other: Ability to operate course equipment; Knowledge of fertilizing and seeding greens; Knowledge of safe procedures for handling fertilizers, pesticides and related chemicals; Good interpersonal skillsCutting, fertilizing and aerating greens and tees, operating triplex greens mower, slope mower, other related equipmentRepairing holes and changing damaged flags; raking sand trapsWatering and top dressing all greensSpraying and seeding greensRepairing golf course equipment and sprinklersCollecting debris, keeping golf courses and facilities cleanAs assigned within the general parameters of 40 hour week, including weekend work.Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application.
