Food Server/Banquet Server

Fox Ridge Golf Club is looking for enthusiastic, upbeat personalities to join our team in the Family Dining, Fine Dining and Banquet departments at the Club! We have openings to meet all schedules (Full Time, Part Time & As Needed). We are open 7 days a week and are hiring for front of house positions that range from opening to closing schedules.

We are looking for a candidate who is warm, and calm under pressure, and who knows how to be a team player and works with urgency throughout the shift. $100 signing bonus for full-time hires.Server Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet tables promptlyAnswer questions about menu itemsAccurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staffFacilitate filling drink orders with the barGracefully suggest/upsell additional menu items, such as desserts and drinksOffer special assistance to patrons with specific needs, such as highchairs for childrenMemorize the menu for on-demand recitation and questions about ingredientsOperate the drink fountain and coffee stationUse the POS system to accurately calculate the patron’s billSideworkCloseout all checks at the end of every shiftServer Requirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred1+ years wait staff experience preferredBasic math skillsWillingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidaysAbility to lift up to 25 poundsFamiliarity with restaurant POS software a plusAbility to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environmentInterest in shift workMust be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in Iowa.Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees and customers in a fast paced environment.Must be able to perform basic math computations.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk and hear.
