Head Golf Pro

The Head Golf Professional oversees daily golf operations, golf shop management, tournaments, instruction, and staff supervision. This position is responsible for providing exceptional member and guest service, promoting participation in golf programs, and ensuring efficient and profitable operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage daily golf operations, tee times, pace of play, and golf cart operations.

- Oversee golf shop sales, merchandise inventory, purchasing, and budgeting.

- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise golf operations staff.

- Organize and administer tournaments, outings, and club golf events.

- Provide golf instruction, clinics, and player development programs.

- Maintain positive relationships with members, guests, and staff.

- Monitor departmental revenue, expenses, and operational performance.

- Coordinate with club management and the golf course superintendent.

- Ensure compliance with club policies, golf rules, and safety procedures.

- Process New Membership Applications

- Order and enter inventory

- Ensure Accounts Receivable are collected.

Qualifications

- PGA membership or equivalent golf professional certification preferred or required.

- Experience in golf operations and staff management.

- Knowledge of golf rules, tournament administration, and golf shop operations.

- Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
