Golf Cart Mechanic

OverviewThe responsibility of the Golf Cart Mechanic is to maintain the excellent playing condition of golf carts. The Golf Cart Mechanic will perform major and minor mechanical repairs on a variety of golf cart equipment.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements1-3 years Mechanic experienceKnowledge of small engine repair or automotiveMust have excellent mechanical and problem-solving skillsWill train the right mechanic if person has no reel grinding skillsKnowledge in hydraulic systemsMust be highly motivated, goal driven and self-starterResponsibilitiesConduct and effective preventative maintenance program in conjunction with operators to reduce mechanical failure and poor performance on all golf cart equipmentRepair of all golf cart maintenance equipmentKeep repair records on all equipmentMaintain a clean shop area and keep it orderly and efficientWorking ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and armsThe employee is often required to stand, walk, push, pull, lift grasp, bend and kneel for hours at a time without sittingThe employee frequently is required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, crawl, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controlsThe employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbsModerate exposure to all working elementsEqual Opportunity Employer.
