Bartender/Server

• **Orange Tree Golf Course is hiring motivated individuals to be cross trained as baristas/bartenders/servers in our Snack Shack, Beverage Cart, Patio Bar/Starbucks Coffee Bar & Sports Edition Bar.*** In this position you will be responsible for taking and serving all F&B orders, preparing all coffee orders, preparing alcohol and non-alcohol drinks, and handling transactions while interacting in a positive, friendly and efficient manner with customers. If you have a positive attitude and are willing to go above and beyond for your guests please see the below job requirements and description and send in a resume and cover-letter letting us know why we should hire you! • Must be 18 years of age • Must have food handler’s card & Title 4 Alcohol Permit • Must be available to work weekends & some holidays • Must have reliable transportation • Starbucks or coffee bar experience is a plus • Must be a team player • Experience is preferred, but not required This is a Part-Time, tipped position and pays $11.70 plus tips and gratuities. • *Position Overview** Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests demonstrating, professionalism through; attentiveness, friendliness, accuracy and strong product/facility knowledge. Responsible for the accuracy and balancing of daily sales and depositing cash, checks, club and credit card charges as per POS system at the end of the shift. Maintain cleanliness of facility. Work as a team with coworkers and contribute to a safe and healthy work environment. • *Essential Job Functions** • Be knowledgeable referencing daily specials, soups, & availability of menu and bar items. • Communicate and demonstrate clear menu competence and be able to accurately respond to questions concerning item ingredients and cooking methods. • Take food and beverage orders using suggestive selling techniques • Enter orders in to POS system (Point of Sale ordering) for preparation by bar or kitchen • Serve food and/or beverages in a timely manner to guest satisfaction • Handle food and beverages in accordance with sanitation and health regulations • Remove dirty/empty glasses and dishes in a timely manner • Ensure correct payment is received, & provide guest with receipt. • Perform general cleaning duties ensuring all areas of the restaurant are clean, tidy and in top condition. • Perform all side work as assigned by the supervisor • *Requirements** • Prior server experience - preferred, but required • Attitude – courtesy/cooperation toward guests, management and coworkers • Attendance and punctuality • Personal appearance and hygiene • Ability to speak, write and follow written and verbal directions • Strong communication skills and friendly personality • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds • Work inside or outside for the majority of any shift, in the heat, cold or damp weather conditions • Able to push, pull, stoop and bend when cleaning or loading and unloading items. • Must be able to work mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
