Golf Course Maintenance Department
Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experienceWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Golf Course Mechanic to join our Golf Course Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing the equipment used in daily golf course operations.The Golf Course Mechanic will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure all equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and troubleshooting on gas, diesel, and electric-powered equipment.
Complete routine and preventative maintenance on golf course maintenance equipment.
Maintain, sharpen, and properly adjust mower blades and reels.
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs in a timely manner.
Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential mechanical or safety concerns.
Communicate equipment problems, repair needs, and recommendations to the Golf Course Superintendent.
Purchase and order equipment parts and maintenance supplies as needed.
Maintain an organized inventory of commonly used parts and shop supplies.
Keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Maintain service and maintenance records as needed.
Help ensure equipment is ready and available to support daily golf course operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with golf course equipment, small engines, diesel equipment, automotive repair, or heavy equipment preferred.
Knowledge of gas, diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems preferred.
Experience with reel and mower blade sharpening is a plus.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to safely operate tools and maintenance equipment.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Compensation:$20.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.Job Type: Full-Time
