Varsity Assistant Golf Coach

Delaware County Christian School athletics is seeking to hire an energetic and committed Varsity Assistant Golf Coach to start in Fall 2026. We seek candidates who have knowledge and passion for their sport, who value sportsmanship and safety, and who are committed to the development of their athletes and the overall program both on and off the field. Additionally, coaching candidates must have strong communication skills and display professionalism at all times. Under the leadership of the Varsity Assistant Golf Coach, team(s) must honor the Lord and represent DC well.QualificationsHave a personal relationship with Jesus ChristFaith must be aligned with what we believe as described on the school's websiteMust be able to communicate a Christian-view of athleticsMust know and understand the skills and techniques of golf and effectively teach and communicate those skills and techniques to varsity athletesAble to plan and execute team practicesAble to organize and coach the team on meet daysHigh school, college or professional golf coaching experience preferredResponsibilitiesRun daily practices anytime between 3:00-7:00pmDevelop rosters, provide game plans and oversee effective execution of those plansWillingness to drive the team van to practices and/or meets as neededOther duties as assignedSeason: Fall 2026Interested candidates must review and sign the Statement of Faith.
