• *Snoqualmie, WA** | In 1858, Jeremiah Borst settled in the Snoqualmie Valley. In the late 1800’s the hop farmers association was formed in the area and soon over 900+ acres of hops were being grown in the Meadowbrook area. The Snoqualmie Hop Farm was billed as the “largest hop farm in the world.” In 1923, A.W. Pratt planted the Meadowbrook addition to Snoqualmie.
Mount Si Golf Course evolved as part of this Meadowbrook addition, as “prohibition” reduced the need for hops it became an 18-hole public course in the 1930’s. In 1958, 1985, and 1994 the course underwent significant changes and has evolved into a popular public golf course.
