Overview
We are seeking a dedicated part-time (20 hr. weekly) Golf Course Maintenance worker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining outdoor space.
The aim of the Golf Course Maintenance worker is to keep our golf course in top condition, creating a beautiful and enjoyable playing field for our customers.
Duties
Maintain the overall appearance of the golf course by mowing, edging, trimming, repairing pathways and sand traps and removing debris.
Repair damaged parts of the course, such as sand traps and divots.
Operate a variety of equipment, including mowers, trimmers and irrigation systems.
Support with general tasks like weeding, aerating soil, and applying pest control measures as needed.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects that enhance the course’s aesthetic appeal.
Duties as assigned.
Requirements
Prior experience in golf course maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of golf course operations and turf management.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic troubleshooting skills are a plus.
Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining course quality standards.
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Valid driver’s license may be required depending on specific job duties. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
