Compensation

- Base Pay: $15.00 per hour

- Estimated Total Earnings: $23.00–$35.00 per hour, including tips, based on performance and business volume.

Job Purpose

Lely Resort Golf & Country Club is seeking personable, polished, and service-oriented Dining Servers to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences to our members and guests.

The ideal candidate takes pride in providing attentive, personalized service, anticipates guest needs, and thrives in a welcoming yet fast-paced dining environment. Responsibilities

- Welcome members and guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.

- Provide attentive, personalized food and beverage service throughout the dining experience.

- Present menu offerings, make thoughtful recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverage selections.

- Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and coordinate with culinary staff to ensure timely service.

- Communicate dietary restrictions, food allergies, and special requests to the kitchen.

- Maintain exceptional presentation, cleanliness, and service standards throughout the dining areas.

- Anticipate guest needs, including beverage refills, additional requests, and special accommodations.

- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and discretion, involving management when appropriate.

- Process guest payments accurately and maintain accountability for transactions.

- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage service experience preferred.

- Previous experience in upscale dining, resorts, golf clubs, or country clubs is a plus.

- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

- Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver attentive service in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, service etiquette, and responsible alcohol service practices.

- Must meet applicable legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

- Experience operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work collaboratively with a team.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.

Working Conditions

- Days and hours of work vary based on operational needs.

- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.

- The position involves prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying food and beverage items.

- Employees may be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
