Role Description This is an on-site Bartender role located in Springboro, OH. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking guest orders, and offering recommendations aligned with the Birdie Bay Golf experience. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and stocking the bar, maintaining a clean and organized work area, processing payments accurately, and following responsible alcohol service guidelines. The Bartender will engage with guests in the bar, simulator bays, and event spaces, ensuring friendly, efficient service and supporting food service for appetizers. Additional responsibilities include assisting with opening and closing duties, supporting special events and parties, and collaborating with the team to create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere.
Qualifications
Demonstrated bartending skills, including mixing, garnishing, and serving a variety of cocktails and beverages.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to create a friendly, inclusive, and engaging guest experience.Ability to manage multiple orders, handle busy periods, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and commitment to complying with local regulations.Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience with attention to accuracy and detail.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and perform basic cleaning and stocking tasks.Previous experience in hospitality, bar, or restaurant settings is preferred; experience in entertainment or sports venues is a plus.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for regular service and special events.Minimum age requirement to serve alcohol in Ohio and any necessary local permits or certifications.
