Job Title: Pool Manager - Seasonal
Location: Twin Lakes Golf and Swim Club
Summary:
Twin Lakes Golf and Swim Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pool Manager to oversee all aspects of our pool operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for creating a safe and enjoyable environment for our members and guests. The Pool Manager will be responsible for managing pool staff, maintaining pool equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a family-friendly atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and lead pool staff and lifeguards.
· Ensure all lifeguards maintain current Red Cross certification and provide necessary training and support.
· Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and certifications, including CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification.
· Oversee the maintenance and repair of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and chemical systems.
· Manage inventory of pool supplies, chemicals, and equipment, always ensuring adequate stock levels.
· Partner with food and beverage service team to ensure F&B service is of a high standard.
· Create a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere at the pool, organizing events and activities for members and guests.
· Hire and train new pool staff and lifeguards.
· Develop and implement pool policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.
· Handle scheduling of pool staff, including shifts, vacations, and special events.
· Monitor pool usage and enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
· Collaborate with other departments within the club to coordinate events and activities that involve the pool area.
· Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that occur within the pool area, following established protocols for first aid and safety procedures.
· Maintain records and reports related to pool operations, including maintenance logs, incident reports, and staff certifications.
Qualifications:
· CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required.
· Strong knowledge of pool equipment, maintenance, and chemical systems.
· Current Red Cross certification for lifeguarding or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
· Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a pool or aquatic facility setting.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
· Knowledge of first aid and CPR preferred.
· Experience in recreation management, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
