Mount Vernon Country Club, located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Bartenders. Mount Vernon Country Club was established in 1915 and is considered on of the premier private clubs in Central Ohio. Members enjoy a state-of-the-art athletic center, two pools, and fine dining in an exclusive environment. The well-appointed clubhouse is a popular event and wedding reception destination for members and their guests. Responsibilities Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared.Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.Maintains daily inventory and records.Checks identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.Assists food servers and hostesses as needed.Requirements Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (May vary by state)Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutesAbility to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol.
