Position: Performance Coach (Fitness) Company DescriptionPeak Golf Institute is a high-performance training center dedicated to redefining golf performance through advanced evaluation and coaching. The team combines 3D motion capture, force plate technology, and industry-leading coaching to design individualized programs that help golfers reach their peak potential. Founded by Golf Digest Top 50 Golf Fitness Professional Jason Meisch, the institute integrates the TPI model with physical assessments, swing analysis, and expert instruction. Since 2011, clients have achieved Major wins, over 20 professional victories, and more than 50 top-10 finishes across PGA, LPGA, and global tours. The mission is to build smarter, stronger, more resilient golfers through elite evaluations, high-performance training, and ongoing coaching education.Role Description The Performance Coach (Fitness) is a full-time, on-site role based in Rockville, MD, focused on optimizing golfers’ physical performance and resilience. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive fitness and movement assessments, designing individualized strength and conditioning programs, and delivering in-person training sessions tailored to golfers of varying skill levels. The coach collaborates closely with golf instructors to integrate physical training with swing mechanics, uses performance data and technology to track progress, and adjusts programs based on objective metrics and client feedback. Additional responsibilities include educating clients on recovery, injury prevention, and long-term performance habits, maintaining accurate training records, and contributing to a professional, inclusive, and client-centered environment.QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in Athletic Performance and Strength & Conditioning to design and implement golf-specific training programs.Strong Coaching and Training skills to deliver clear instruction, provide actionable feedback, and motivate golfers across all levels.Experience or familiarity with Business Coaching to support client goal-setting, program adherence, and professional communication.Relevant certification such as CSCS, CPT, or TPI certification, or a degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or a related field.Ability to interpret performance data from assessments and technology (e.g., motion capture, force plates) and translate findings into practical training plans.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive training environment.Experience working with golfers or rotational athletes is strongly preferred; background in high-performance or sport-specific training is advantageous.Capacity to work on-site in Rockville, MD, Ashburn, VA. and Arlington Va. manage multiple clients, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary coaching team.
