Assistant Golf Professional

**Overview:** We are seeking a passionate and experienced Golf Professional to join our team at The Golden Bear Club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in golf instruction and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and promoting the game of golf. Someone who is eager and has a willingness to learn and grow in this industry. **Duties:** - Assist with Golf Shop(Maintain and Uphold standards of a private club golf shop, check-in members, provide assistance to member requests, proficient in tee sheet software, learn and utilize tournament Golf Genius Software) - Provide golf instruction to players of all skill levels, including individual lessons and group clinics - Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and goals - Conduct on-course playing lessons to improve course management and strategy - Assist with club fittings, equipment recommendations, and repairs - Organize and oversee golf events, tournaments, and junior golf programs - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times **Experience:** The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Previous experience as a Golf Professional or Golf Instructor - Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - PGA or LPGA certification preferred(interest in a future with the PGA) - Experience working with diverse groups of players, including juniors and seniors Join our team as a Golf Professional and share your passion for golf while helping others improve their game!
