Golf Course Superintendent Golf Course in Moorestown, New Jersey is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview: The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the overall maintenance, conditioning, and presentation of Moorestown Field Club’s golf course, practice facilities, courts, grounds, and facilities. Reporting to the General Manager, the Superintendent leads the grounds maintenance team and oversees agronomic programs, staff development, budgeting, environmental stewardship, and long-term course improvements. The successful candidate will be a visible, detail oriented leader who balances sound agronomic practices with outstanding member service and a commitment to the long-term success of Moorestown Field Club.
Requirements Including, but not limited to, the following:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive golf course maintenance experience at a private club or high-quality daily fee facility, with Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent experience preferred.
Proven knowledge of turfgrass management, irrigation systems, drainage, environmental stewardship, and agronomic best practices.
Demonstrated success leading, developing, and motivating a golf course maintenance team while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
Experience preparing and managing operating and capital budgets, equipment, and resource allocation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with members, club leadership, and the Green Committee.
Valid state pesticide applicator’s license (or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe).
GCSAA membership and Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) designation are preferred, but not required.
Compensation $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
