Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Grounds Crew member and play a vital role in maintaining the pristine beauty and functionality of our golf course. You will be responsible for a variety of landscaping, turf management, and maintenance tasks that keep the course in top condition. Duties Maintain and enhance the landscape by mowing fairways, greens, and roughs using lawn care equipment and hand tools Operate irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Perform routine landscape maintenance including edging, trimming, planting, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth Handle manual tasks such as raking, hauling soil or mulch, and clearing debris to keep the course tidy and safe Use power tools like chainsaws and hedge trimmers safely for tree pruning or removal projects Manage pesticide applications following safety protocols to control pests and protect plant health Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems and repair or adjust components to ensure efficient water distribution Assist with general maintenance tasks including equipment cleaning, sharpening blades, and minor repairs to ensure operational readiness Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and effectively throughout the workday Knowledge of irrigation systems, power tool safety practices, and lawn care techniques is advantageous Familiarity with pesticide management regulations and application procedures is a plus Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for active duties Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape maintenance and safety standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative outdoor work environments Join us in creating an exceptional golf experience by maintaining our beautiful course!
