About the position The Golf Pro Shop Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests while handling retail sales, tee time check-ins, and general pro shop operations. This role supports the golf team by ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all golfers. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide a friendly, welcoming environmentProcess sales transactions accurately using POS systemsCheck in golfers for tee times and assist with reservationsAnswer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about golf services, rates, and merchandiseMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shopRestock merchandise and assist with inventory managementPromote golf merchandise, apparel, and resort offeringsHandle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment responsiblyWork closely with Golf Pros and starters to ensure smooth daily operationsFollow all resort policies and proceduresRequirements Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferredBasic knowledge of golf is a plus, but not requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBasic math and computer skillsReliable attendance and punctuality are essentialAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallyAbility to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditionsFlexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or eveningsNice-to-haves Basic knowledge of golf is a plus, but not requiredBenefits Employee discounts on golf, merchandise, and resort amenitiesOpportunity to work in a beautiful resort environmentGrowth opportunities within the resort
