Pro Shop Attendant

Overview: About Cutalong at Tributer Resort Located in Mineral, Virginia, Cutalong at Tributer Resort spans 1,000 acres bordering Lake Anna and is poised to become a premier destination in Virginia. The development plan includes 891 residential entitlements, including estate homes and homesites, executive homesites, cottages, villas, townhomes and luxury condominium accommodations. The resort's planned amenities include a spa & wellness center, multiple restaurants, social and conference meeting space and a rich array of resort activities all anchored by the prestigious Cutalong Golf Club. Responsibilities: General responsibilities include: • Greet and assist golfers and visitors with their needs, providing a high level of customer service. • Sell golf equipment, apparel, accessories, and other merchandise in the Pro Shop, ensuring an organized and inviting sales floor. • Assist with tee-time reservations, check-in golfers, and ensure accurate records are maintained for rounds played. • Assist with stocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that the shop is properly organized and clean. • Process transactions for tee times, golf carts, rental clubs, other equipment, and products. Ensuring proper tracking of rentals and communication with supervisors and outside staff. • Assist with organizing and managing golf tournaments and events, including checking in participants, assisting with scoring, and providing event materials. • Accurately process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit card payments, and receipts. • Maintain knowledge of golf products, services, and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers. • Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and assist with other duties assigned by the Professional Golf Staff as needed. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a golf-related environment • Passion for golf and knowledge of golf equipment and apparel is a plus • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours Salary: $16 per hour (hourly)
