LBI National Golf & Resort | A VIVÂMEE Hospitality Property
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests while maintaining VIVÂMEE Hospitality standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality. This role plays a key part in creating memorable guest experiences across restaurant service, bar operations, banquets, and resort events at LBI National Golf & Resort.
The ideal candidate is personable, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Service
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards
Provide attentive, engaging service to bar and restaurant guests
Execute beverage service for daily operations, banquets, and special events
Maintain consistency and quality in all cocktails and drinks
Make recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
Bar Operations & Organization
Set up and stock bar with necessary supplies, garnishes, and glassware
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, storage, and service stations
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of all bar products
Accurately process orders using POS system
Guest Experience & Hospitality
Create a welcoming and engaging environment at the bar and throughout the resort
Promote and embody the VIVÂMEE Values in all guest interactions
Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor
Compliance & Safety
Follow all local, state, and federal alcohol service regulations
Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and company policies
Maintain cleanliness and proper use of bar tools and equipment
Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen teams
Communicate effectively with leadership and teammates during service
Support overall service flow to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Continuous Improvement
Stay current on beverage trends and product knowledge
Contribute ideas for drink specials and menu enhancements
Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality team
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation techniques
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid certification or willingness to obtain required alcohol service certification (as applicable)
