Job Summary
Under supervision, performs skilled and semi-skilled work in maintaining the grounds in or around the Golf Course.
Responsibilities And Duties
Specializes in turf and irrigation system maintenance duties, such as mowing greens, tees, fairways, roughs and raking sand trapsPerforms manual labor, including digging, shoveling, operating weed eaters, trim mowers and hand mowersAssists in daily maintenance, including changing cups and tees, and setting up the course for playAvailable for emergency work: evenings, weekends and holidaysPerforms other related duties as requested, directed or assigned
Qualifications And Skills
Mechanical aptitude and skill in the use of toolsAbility to perform work requiring sustained climbing, standing, lifting, bending, kneeling, sitting, and walkingAbility to handle and work around potentially dangerous materialsAbility to lift 75 pounds regularlyAbility to maintain physical exertion for extended periods under adverse weather conditions at high altitude with exposure to dust, fumes, hazardous chemicals and/or disagreeable elementsMust Possess and maintain of a valid, current Arizona Drivers’ License
