About the role
Assistant Superintendent Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview: The role of Golf Course Assistant Superintendent directs and participates in the maintenance of every aspect of the golf course, including tees, greens, fairways, bunkers, cart paths and the rough, as well as supervises the maintenance and repair of motorized and other mechanical equipment. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring the course remains free of pest infestations or disease outbreaks.
Requirements • Associates degree in turf management preferred • Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs • Ability to read write and speak, and communicate in basic English • Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) certification
Compensation $68,000 to $72,000 per year.
