About the Role
Bishops Bay Country Club in Middleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a Clubhouse Manager to lead daily operations at a family-oriented private club on the shores of Lake Mendota.
Founded in 1995 and housed in The Manor, a renovated 1933 historic property, Bishops Bay offers golf, aquatics, tennis and pickleball, lake access, and year-round member programming. Food and beverage operations span multiple indoor and outdoor outlets, including a lakeside patio, pool snack bar, and event spaces, generating approximately $2.6 million in annual revenue concentrated in the peak season.
The Clubhouse Manager reports to the General Manager/COO and oversees the Executive Chef, Dining Room Manager, Bar Manager, Events Manager, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Aquatics. The role is responsible for service standards, team development, budget ownership, and operational partnership with the GM, with a strong emphasis on floor presence and consistent member engagement.
The Club is seeking a private club professional with a background in F&B operations, experience leading multi-discipline teams, and the ability to partner effectively with an Executive Chef. A collaborative management style and commitment to developing department leaders are essential to success in this role.
