Golf Course Superintendent Golf Course in Richmond, Virginia is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent. Position Overview: The Golf Course is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent to lead all facets of the golf maintenance operation at The Tattersall Youth Development Center. This position will work with the VP of Agronomy, Director of Turf Equipment, and Assistant Superintendent to provide high level conditions on a daily basis. This 18-hole, par 66 golf course provides a challenge for all level of golfers. In addition to the 18-hole course, it includes great practice facilities complete with a driving range, practice greens, and a 3-hole development course focused on scoring distances developed by renowned architect Lester George. The golf course is grassed with Tifway 419 bermudagrass on tees, fairways, and rough while using L-93 bentgrass across 2 acres of greens. Requirements – Previous experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent – Bachelor’s or Associate degree and a background in Turfgrass Management or other related fields (preferred) Compensation $70,000 – $75,000 per year.
