Golf Course Bartender/Server (Seasonal - Full time)

Property Description: Winnetka Golf Club offers a championship 18-hole course, a par-3 nine-hole course, a driving range, practice greens and a clubhouse with pro shop and food and beverage service. The golf course features a quality and challenging layout with superb course conditions. Winnetka Golf Club provides a best-in-class public golf course choice for Chicago’s North Shore where players enjoy an overall satisfying time, through elevated on-course and instructional experiences, junior and adult programming, and premier customer service. Greets and serves food and/or beverages to patrons. This posting is for a seasonal position, starting immediately and running through October. Hours are flexible, with opening times at or around 6:30am, and closing at or around 9:00pm. Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating, greet warmly and distribute menus. Maintain records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times. Take member/guest food and/or drink orders. Turn orders into kitchen; Assemble food on tray; Serve meals and beverages. replenish beverages as necessary. Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks and present bill to guests. Handle all cash and credit cards as applicable from guest charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures. Keep tables, dining room and bar area clean and tidy. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur. 1 year server and/or bartender experience required.
