Job Title: Golf Course Grounds Crew Department: Golf Course Maintenance Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent Location: Union League Liberty Hill (800 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444) The Union League Liberty Hill Golf Course Maintenance Department is seeking individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a landscape maintenance atmosphere. The Golf Course Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance of an 18-hole golf course, and adjoining Lodge landscaping. No experience in golf course maintenance is required. All job duties can be taught. Applicants Must Be: • Physically fit and able to move quickly from place to place • Capable of walking 5-7 miles per day at a brisk walking pace • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate a sense of urgency • Capable of following detailed instructions • Willing to work in varying climatic conditions including rainy, cold and hot weather • Punctual and have reliable transportation • Able to present a valid driver’s license, state issued ID, and or state issued working papers if applicable • Able to complete a criminal background check Applicants Can Expect: • Workdays vary. Your desired schedule will be considered • Work 34 hours per week • Seasonal employment: April 14th – November 1st • Work holidays as needed. Most holidays are paid 1.5 x hourly rate. • Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) • Properly and safely operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, shovels, rakes and other types of lawn care equipment • Maintain and use equipment as if you own it personally • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area • Communicate well and work together with other team members • Complete job tasks in a timely manner with detail and quality Benefits and Compensation: • $16.00 per hour • Uniform shirts, hat and safety gear provided • Employee meals provided • Eligible for year-end performance bonus • Eligible for full-time employment including health insurance benefits, paid time off, paid vacation and 401K • Free golf on Mondays after work shift if available
