Beaver Brook Country Club Knoxville, Tennessee – Halls Community About the Position Beaver Brook Country Club is seeking an experienced, service-focused Food & Beverage Manager & Events Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on management position responsible for supporting daily food and beverage operations while taking primary responsibility for event sales, planning, and execution. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager and Executive Chef to provide exceptional experiences for our members, guests, and event clients.

The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, professional, and enjoys building relationships, developing event business, and leading a team in a fast-paced country club environment.

Key Responsibilities Food & Beverage Operations · Provide hands-on leadership during daily food and beverage operations and high-volume service periods.

· Maintain Club standards for hospitality, service, appearance, cleanliness, and professionalism.

· Coach and develop front-of-house team members through ongoing training and real-time feedback.

· Manage staff scheduling, shift coverage, accountability, and performance.

· Monitor service levels and proactively address member and guest concerns.

· Work closely with the Executive Chef to coordinate kitchen and front-of-house operations.

· Maintain a visible management presence during service and Club events.

Event Sales & Coordination

· Serve as the primary point of contact for event inquiries and prospective clients.

· Conduct event consultations and tours of the Club's event spaces.

· Develop proposals and guide clients through the booking process.

· Build relationships with members, businesses, community organizations, and other potential event clients.

· Identify opportunities to increase event sales through food, beverage, service, and other enhancements.

· Prepare and maintain accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

· Coordinate event details with the Operations Manager, Executive Chef, and Club departments.

· Serve as the day-of coordinator for events, overseeing setup, service, communication, and breakdown.

· Develop repeat business and maintain strong relationships with event clients.

Club & Member Events

· Help plan and coordinate Club-sponsored events and member functions.

· Work with the Operations Manager and Executive Chef on menus, staffing, timelines, and event details.

· Take ownership of assigned Club events from planning through execution.

· Help promote member participation and engagement.

Qualifications · 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in food and beverage, hospitality, events, restaurants, resorts, private clubs, or a related field. · Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

· Strong commitment to member and guest satisfaction.

· Professional appearance and demeanor.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on Club and event needs.

Preferred Experience · Country club, resort, upscale restaurant, or hospitality experience. · Experience creating and executing BEOs.

· Experience with event proposals, contracts, deposits, and client communications.

· Experience managing Front of House operations.

Compensation $45,000–$55,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifi-cations, plus commission opportunities tied to event sales and performance-based incentives for Club-sponsored events. This position offers an opportunity to play an important role in the continued growth of Beaver Brook Country Club's food and beverage and events program while building strong relationships with our members and guests.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
