Golf Course Superintendent

Rose Lake Golf Club is seeking a motivated, and dependable Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the maintenance, presentation, and daily operations of the golf course. Responsibilities - Oversee daily golf course maintenance and turf-management practices. - Maintain excellent course conditions, appearance, and playability. - Manage irrigation systems, equipment, supplies, and preventative maintenance. - Develop and manage the maintenance budget and make responsible purchasing decisions. - Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate maintenance staff. - Promote a safe, positive, and professional work environment. - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. - Communicate professionally with members, guests, staff, vendors, and club leadership. - Identify problems, implement solutions, and pursue opportunities for course improvement. - Stay current with turf-management practices, technology, and industry trends. Qualifications - Experience/knowledge in golf course maintenance and turf management preferred. - Golf course equipment maintenance knowledge preferred. - Strong knowledge of turf, irrigation, and course maintenance. - Have or able to obtain applicators license within 90 days of hiring. - Leadership and staff-management experience. - Strong communication, organization, budgeting, and problem-solving skills. - Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. - Relevant education, certifications, or superintendent experience are a plus.
