Food Runner Hourly Range: $16.00-$17.50 plus tips We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server-Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will act as a key link between the kitchen and front-of-house service, ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to guests. Responsibilities Efficiently deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests’ tables, maintaining accuracy and presentation standards Assist servers with clearing plates, refilling drinks, and resetting tables to ensure smooth service flow Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to relay special requests or dietary restrictions Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, including bussing tables as needed Support beverage service by delivering cocktails, wine, spirits, or non-alcoholic drinks with professionalism and flair Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food handling and service Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and transactions accurately Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that enhances guest relations Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Effective communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Join us if you’re passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through energetic service!
