<p>General Statement of Duties <br />Under the general supervision of the Golf Course Manager, the Golf Course Landscaping Superintendent <br />is responsible for the landscape maintenance, as well as continuous improvements to the golf course. <br />Incumbent must possess a thorough working knowledge of turf grass management, and landscape <br />maintenance responsibilities such as proper mowing procedures, irrigation, drainage, soil science, <br />landscaping, fertilization, and herbicide and pesticide control methods. Incumbent will perform a variety of <br />supervisory and skilled tasks in the operation to include managing and supervising assigned operations <br />to achieve goals within available resources. Other responsibilities include possessing exceptional public <br />relation skills, must be capable of supervising up to ten (10) employee crew and having administrative <br />ability, especially critical in problem solving and decision making. Has the ability to perform a required <br />role in emergency situations.</p>
