Role Description The Golf Professional is a full-time, on-site role based at Reeves County Golf Course in Pecos, TX. This role is responsible for providing individual and group golf instruction, including lessons, clinics, and on-course coaching for players of all abilities. Day-to-day tasks include managing tee times, assisting with golf operations, supporting pro shop activities, and advising guests on golf equipment and merchandise. The Golf Professional will interact regularly with players, offering guidance on rules and etiquette, ensuring a positive customer experience, and helping coordinate events, leagues, and tournaments. The role also involves collaborating with course staff to maintain a safe, organized environment and promote repeat play and membership growth.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Golf Instruction, including teaching fundamentals, swing techniques, and on-course strategy.Experience in Golf Management and day-to-day golf operations, such as tee sheet coordination and event support.Strong playing ability and knowledge of Golf rules, etiquette, and course management.Familiarity with Golf Equipment, including fitting, selection, and basic maintenance recommendations.Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with guests.Effective organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in bookings and record-keeping.Ability to work on-site, including weekends and holidays as needed, and to collaborate with a diverse team.Prior experience as a golf instructor or in a golf facility is preferred; PGA or similar professional association membership is a plus.
