Job Purpose: The Servers play an integral role in ensuring members and guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate is attentive, welcoming, has a sense of urgency, and previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat members and guestsTake food and beverage orders and accurately input into the point-of-sale systemRecommend menu itemsCommunicate food allergies or special nutrition needs to kitchen staffEnsure orders are filled quickly, accurately, and meet quality standardsProvide attentive service by refilling drinks as needed and checking on the needs of the members and guests while diningPromptly address service issues and refer to management when necessaryAssist in kitchen when needed
Requirements
Qualifications
2 years of experience in a fast-paced, food service environment preferredMust be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages, applicable state card or certificate must be provided if required by state lawAble to work a flexible schedule, perform multiple tasks and prioritize efficientlyCash handling experienceKnowledge of liquor and smoking lawsKnowledge of safety policies and proceduresEffective communication skills (written and oral), strong interpersonal and customer service skillsBasic math skills and ability to operate calculator, cash register and/or point of sale systemEducation
High school diploma or equivalent experience preferredWorking Conditions
Days and hours of work vary by schedule and business needs.Evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required.While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, to walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push or pull. The employee may be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
