Job Purpose
The Pro Shop Manager leads all golf shop operations. This includes sales, guest service, staff supervision, and support for daily course activities. The role also ensures company rules and standards are followed across the facility.
Responsibilities
Greet and check in members and guests
Sell merchandise and process payments
Manage reservations for tee times and services
Maintain inventory and keep the shop clean and organized
Train, schedule, and lead pro shop, range, and cart staff
Handle guest concerns and help resolve service issues
Follow company rules for cash handling and closing duties
Support the General Manager and lead the team when they are away
Assist with staff meetings and communication
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1–2 years in customer service, ideally golf, hospitality, or entertainment
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable handling cash and card transactions
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of golf operations is a plus
High school diploma or GED required
Working Conditions
Work schedules vary based on business needs and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This role involves standing or walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Some climbing, bending, and reaching may be required. Vision needs include near, far, color, and peripheral focus.
