Job Summary of Part Time Golf Course Mechanic:
This position supports golf course maintenance operations by performing advanced mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on turf equipment. The role ensures optimal equipment performance, accurate service records, and efficient shop operations while working a flexible weekday schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Part Time Golf Course Mechanic:
Diagnose and repair gasoline, diesel, and two cycle engines.Maintain and service hydraulic systems and related components.Perform reel and bed knife grinding using proper techniques and equipment.Execute preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.Ensure shop organization, cleanliness, and safe work practices.Collaborate with the Superintendent to prioritize workload and equipment readiness.Qualifications and Experience of Part Time Golf Course Mechanic:
Minimum of five years progressive mechanical experience, preferably within golf course maintenance.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.High attention to detail with organized and efficient work habits.Experience with hydraulic systems and grinding equipment.Ability to maintain accurate service documentation and inventory records.Must provide personal mechanic tool set.Benefits of Part Time Golf Course Mechanic:
