Who We Are

Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' seven distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort also has an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve, and the new Shorty's opened in 2024.

The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

Sand Valley is a golf resort and community, settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, prehistoric sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Here, residents and guests will find six world-class golf courses built in harmony with the land: Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, Sandbox, The Lido, Sedge Valley, and Commons. Founded in 2016 by brothers Michael and Chris Keiser, the resort is known for its friendly hospitality and a community of golf and outdoor enthusiasts who have been drawn to the raw beauty and serenity of the vast Wisconsin Wilderness.

Position Summary

The Corporate Senior Accountant is a versatile member of the corporate accounting team, supporting Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley, and related entities. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position contributes across treasury management, reconciliations, accounts payable, fixed assets, monthly and year-end close, and tax reporting. Responsibilities will evolve with business needs and the individual’s experience, offering broad exposure to corporate and resort accounting and opportunities to improve processes across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Support treasury management through cash position reporting, cash forecasting, and preparation of transfers and payments in accordance with established approvals and controlsReconcile bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts; investigate differences, coordinate corrections, and maintain clear supporting documentationSupport accounts payable, including invoice review, entity and account coding, vendor coordination, payment preparation, and reconciliation of vendor balancesMaintain fixed asset and construction in progress schedules; review capital expenditures, support project closeout, and record asset additions, disposals, and depreciationPrepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules for monthly and year-end close; assist with financial statements, account analysis, and variance explanationsAssist with tax reporting, including information returns, tax workpapers, and schedules requested by external tax advisers; coordinate information gathering across entitiesPartner with resort and corporate accounting teams to resolve issues, meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and strengthen internal controls and recurring proceduresPrepare audit support and assist the Corporate Controller with financial reporting, special projects, and other accounting responsibilities as needed

What You’ll Bring

This is a full-time position in Madison, Wisconsin, supporting Sand Valley, Bandon Dunes, and the corporate accounting teamBachelor's degree in accounting (or higher) requiredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferredAt least 3 years’ experience in accounting or similar role, including independent ownership of reconciliations and close responsibilitiesExperience across treasury, accounts payable, fixed assets, monthly close, tax reporting, multi-entity environment, or hospitality experience preferredStrong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Query, or financial reporting tools are a plusKnowledge of US GAAP and internal control best practices preferredStrong attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindsetClear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with corporate and resort teams across locationsFlexibility to shift among accounting functions, learn new areas, improve processes and work independently
