Kickstart your career in a dynamic, prestigious environment at MPCC!RequirementsWorking with team members to ensure exceptional and consistent member/guest experiencesShowing passion for service and applying service standards on the jobAssisting with daily tasks, including opening and closing proceduresHelping with Club Tournaments and serve as Tournament Lead when neededSetting up weekly events and major tournaments using Golf Genius SoftwareKnowing and enforcing USGA Rules of GolfKeeping the golf course properly marked for play and eventsOverseeing daily play and ensuring adherence to pace of play policiesServing as starter, welcoming and greeting members and guestsAssisting with the upkeep of the GHIN Handicap Program and RosterParticipating in Junior Golf instructional programsWorking closely with top instructors and observing their techniquesAssisting with ordering, receiving, and displaying merchandiseMaintaining a clean and friendly golf shopHelping the Outside Service Operations Team when neededPerforming club repairs (re-gripping, re-shafting, etc.).Conducting weekly inventory of golf balls and gloves, and placing orders as neededTracking hard good inventory and ensuring fitting carts, demo clubs, and rental clubs are up to standardQualifications:Prior hospitality or sports management experience preferredAbility to work in a variety of work environments and roles - indoors, outdoors, seated, and standing/walkingAbility to work work five full days with two days off per week. Club is closed on Mondays and for holidays throughout the Golf Season (Memorial Day, Labor Day)Position will require long periods of standing and walking.
