Maggie Valley Club & Resort is excited to announce the exceptional career\nopportunity of part-time Cart Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a\nhospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service\n\nAs a key member of the property’s golf operations team, the Cart Attendant\nreports directly to the General Manager or Golf Shop Supervisor and attends to\nthe golf cart fleet as well as other duties as directed.
Responsibilities
Maintains professional appearanceBrings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart\nbarn at the end of the dayCleans, waters, checks carts after each use and restocks as requiredCleans and maintains cart barnEnsures the carts are available for player use at all timesReceives and communicates complains to the Golf ShopWorks closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournamentsImplements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by\nmanagementPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor or managerRequirements
Must have strong customer/guest orientationMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be dependableMust have friendly personality and enjoy working with the publicAbility to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulationsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to use equipment and tools properly and safelyNice-to-haves
Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
