Golf Shop Attendant
Job Summary of Golf Shop Attendant:
This position supports golf shop operations by delivering friendly and efficient service to guests while assisting golf professionals with daily retail and administrative activities. The role focuses on reservations management, point of sale transactions, merchandise presentation, and maintaining an organized shop environment to enhance the overall guest experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Golf Shop Attendant:
• Process reservations for guests and coordinate tee time scheduling.
• Provide attentive customer service to expedite the check in process.
• Arrange and display golf shop merchandise as directed.
• Collect green fees, cart fees, and other revenues using the point of sale system.
• Issue receipts and ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Take and relay messages for staff and guests as needed.
• Assist with packing, unpacking, and organizing inventory and golf supplies.
• Support daily reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable at closing.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the golf shop.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience of Golf Shop Attendant:
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Dependable work ethic and reliability.
• Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.
