We are looking for a passionate and energetic Talent & Development Specialist to join our team at Colonial Country Club. This role sits at the center of our people strategy, bringing in great talent and helping them succeed once they’re here.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced position focused on high-volume recruiting, onboarding, and training. The right person thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships quickly, and takes pride in creating a strong first impression for every new team member.

Where You’ll Make an Impact Daily
Lead high-volume recruiting efforts, from sourcing to onboardingConduct interviews and help identify top talent across multiple departmentsCoordinate and facilitate onboarding and training programs for new hiresPartner with managers to understand staffing needs and prioritiesSupport ongoing employee development and training initiativesCoach and train managers and executive-level leaders on hiring, onboarding, and team development practicesHelp improve the overall new hire experience and retention effortsKeep hiring and training processes organized, consistent, and efficient
What You Bring to the Table
3–5 years of experience in HR, recruiting, training, or a similar people-focused roleStrong background in high-volume hiring or fast-paced environments (hospitality, events, private club experience, service industry a plus)Passion for training, coaching, and helping people succeedComfortable working on-site and being highly visible and engaged with teamsConfidence in coaching and influencing managers and executive-level leaders is essentialStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stay organized while managing multiple priorities at onceA POSITIVE, proactive, and solutions-focused mindsetBachelor’s degree preferredBilingual in Spanish highly preferredSHRM certification a plus
