With a full-service clubhouse, driving range, practice facilities, golf shop, and casual dining, Riverview Golf Course is dedicated to providing exceptional service and a quality golf experience for members of the community and visitors alike.
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and hospitality-driven Food & Beverage Manager / Tournament Lead to oversee daily food and beverage operations while also coordinating and executing golf tournaments and group outings at Riverview Golf Course.
This dual-role position is a full time, on site position that is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing service standards, supporting event execution, and ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen, bar, and golf operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Essential Functions
Financial & Sales Management
Manage food and beverage operations including quality, pricing, budgeting, and cost control.
Oversee inventory, cost of goods, and overall departmental profitability.
Support tournament and group sales through outbound outreach, follow-ups, and lead generation.
Track performance metrics including revenue, rounds booked, and program effectiveness.
Operations & Team Leadership
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Food & Beverage staff.
Coordinate daily F&B operations and tournament/event execution.
Conduct staff and management meetings as needed.
Collaborate with golf operations to ensure consistent messaging and smooth event delivery.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with all food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and environmental standards.
Properly use POS systems for transactions, tee times, and event tracking.
Maintain accurate records of tournaments, including attendance, revenue, and service data.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales activity and performance.
Customer Service & Community Relations
Deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, associations, and event partners.
Work with community groups and planners to secure outings and events.
Represent the organization with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
2+ years supervisory experience OR 4+ years food & beverage experience.
2+ years experience in tournament, event, or group sales coordination.
Certified Food Handler required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
