Intern

APOGEE is the vision & passion project of two highly successful businessmen, Mr. Michael Pascucci & Mr. Stephen Ross. Located on 1,200 acres in Hobe Sound, Florida, APOGEE is a high-end private golf club featuring an exceptional collection of country club amenities, including a pool, spa, fitness center, racquet sports & fishing.

The club will feature two clubhouses with world-class food & beverage, more than 50 overnight cottages & a state-of-the-art golf performance center. Upon completion, APOGEE will be a club without peer in South Florida.

APOGEE’s golf offerings include three 18-hole courses. The West Course, designed by Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner, opened in December 2023. The South Course was designed & built by Tom Fazio II & Mike Davis, who also oversee APOGEE’s in-house golf construction team. The South Course opened in November 2024 alongside a 55-acre, 360-degree practice range & five-acre short-game area—all of which have received rave reviews.

The property also features a seven-hole Wee Course & a Himalayas-style putting green that is overseeded & illuminated for evening use during the winter & spring seasons.

The third 18-hole course, the North Course, was designed by Kyle Phillips & recently opened for play in December of 2025. It features approximately 90 acres of fairway-height TifGrand bermudagrass. Lastly, a second short course consisting of 12 holes opened this spring  featuring zoysia roughs, tropical landscaping & will also be winter overseeded.

Our interns get to spend several weeks on each course, with each Superintendent learning the different day-to-day management techniques, cultural practices, grass types & small task management.

Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, self-motivated & willing to take ownership of their responsibilities. Most importantly, they must be leaders who are not afraid to communicate, contribute ideas & have a voice within the Golf Course Maintenance Department.
