<p>Algonquin is looking for a driven Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This is an opportunity to work within all aspects of the operation and gain management experience leading our student caddie program and caddie house staff. Algonquin was founded in 1903 and has a passionate and active membership that care deeply about their club. The club continues to reinvest in the facility and staff on an annual basis. Algonquin averages around 22,000 rounds annually.<br /><br />The facility offers programming for men, ladies, couples, and juniors. The facility is open year round with the golf season April through October. A full schedule of events and activities keeps the club active Tuesday thru Sunday. A small amount of Monday outings are held each year. The current team consists of the following roles:<br /><br />PGA Director of Golf<br />PGA Director of Instruction<br />PGA Associate Head Golf Professional <br />PGA Associate Player Developent Professional<br />PGA Associate Assistant Golf Professional<br /><br />Candidates should have the desire to make golf their career and progress through the PGA Associate program if not a PGA member. Our team is very involved within the Gateway PGA by playing in the tournament program and serving on various committees. Algonquin is a proponent of continuing education and offers allowances for attending seminars and education events.
